Our daughter Shaindy is married to Scott, Ethelyn' wonderful older son. Loosing Ethelyn was a shock and incredible loss for the extended family as we were looking forward to share our children’s future together. Who would know that the nice conversation I had in the summer at a barbeque with Ethelyn would be our last. May her memory be a blessing for all of us, may we only know of good things in all of our futures and may her husband and sons be comforted.

Ethelyn was my Sister in law, altho we referred to each other as Sisters.. She was Smart, Witty, and Strong.. and a Business Women who was on top of her Business and led the team with wisdom beyond. Her Dad Sol was a Brilliant and Shrewd Business Man who obviously played a great and lasting influence on his Daughter.. The Hirsch Family became a part of the Schreck Family .. and Harold became an employee in 1992 and his greatest joy of getting up each day and going to work.. was not only because he truly loved the business, but mainly because he worked everyday with HIS Brother as each of the Hirsch Brothers referred to each other! Ethelyn was the Boss and Both Ken and Harold Respected Her as they knew she knew what was best! We are Family and will Miss Her Being Forever, but will all and always Cherish and Treasure all we had together for the past many many years... We shared so so many family great times and all our children spent so much time together with their Aunt Ethelyn and Uncle Kenny as they worked together for years with them at the Renaissance Fair.. Leonardo's Lemonade.. Flea Markets. and other Fairs thru-out the state of Illinois and Kansas City.. Thank Good.ness for our Family and our Memories.. We will all Miss Our Aunt Ethelyn.. and while she is no longer her in Body.. she will Never Never Die. .. because of who she was and what she has given to each of us... and how much we loved her and how much she loved each of us ... and how very generous both her and Kenny were to all of the Hirsch kids and our Grandchildren... They were blessed and always were willing to share.. Ethelyn.. we love you!!! Till we meet again.. Your loving Sister In Law.. Sister Alice
